A Life of Surviving
You want to appear strong and in control, but deep down you are struggling with the weight of holding it all together. You are someone who gives until there is nothing left, yet still find yourself questioning your worth, overwhelmed by anxiety, and feeling like you cannot keep up. You are tired of pretending to be fine while carrying everyone else’s expectations. You are ready to make a change. You are ready to set boundaries and release the weight of others’ expectations. Most of all, you are ready to believe you are good enough as your authentic self and truly thrive instead of just survive.

Therapy with me is not about becoming someone else. It is about stripping away the noise so you can finally show up as your real self without apology. I am straightforward and compassionate, with space for both honesty and humor when it is needed most.
My work is eclectic and person-centered, pulling from evidence-based practices while always keeping your story at the center. I have published research on how trauma lives not only in the mind but also in the body. My article, Cortisol Dysregulation and the Trauma Cycle in Intimate Partner Violence Survivors, explores how the stress of abuse can trap survivors in survival mode, changing the way the body and nervous system function.
This truth shapes how I show up in the therapy room. Healing is not just about coping or pushing through. It is about addressing the full weight of what trauma leaves behind, body, mind, and story, and building a life where thriving becomes possible.

I provide therapy to adults in Texas, Florida, and Colorado. Whether you are looking for support close to home or through the flexibility of telehealth, you will find a space here that is steady, supportive, and real. You may be someone who gives until you are completely drained, someone who replays conversations on a loop, or someone who feels stuck between wanting to set boundaries and fearing what will happen if you do. Whatever your story looks like, you do not have to keep navigating it alone. Therapy is a space to step out of old roles and begin creating a life that feels more authentic and steady.

Working together means creating a relationship that is both supportive and real. You can expect me to listen deeply, challenge you when needed, and walk alongside you as you move toward change. Our work will focus on untangling the patterns that keep you stuck and building tools that fit your life, not someone else’s idea of what it should look like. Therapy with me is not about quick fixes, it is about finding freedom in being your true self and learning how to live with confidence and clarity.
Life does not have to feel like constant second-guessing or carrying the weight of everyone else’s expectations. Therapy gives you the chance to step out of survival mode and start living in a way that feels steady, authentic, and fully your own. You deserve that freedom, and when you are ready, I will be here to walk beside you.
